Compact seat features an adjustable backrest for comfort, plus it's water-resistant with a zip pocket for your food, water, and first aid kit. Simply attach it to integrated mounts on top of the Portofino for fast, easy fitting.

Paddle Extension
Paddle extension easily screws onto the end of the adjustable paddle supplied with the Portofino. Allows you to use it as a two-blade paddle for sit-down kayaking, rather than a one-blade paddle for paddle boarding.

Opted to buy the Kayak conversion kit that specifically fitted the board just in case I wanted to use it as a kayak down the line. Have only tested it on dry land so far and not on the water. The seat seems sturdy enough and comfortable. Very easy to attach. I'm not sure the loops for the foot bar are going to be able to withstand the pressure required when kayaking for very long, but this is just speculation.I have left the footbar attached when using as a SUP to avoid wear and tear when adding and removing... Youngest daughter uses it to hold on to when kneeling at the front while I paddle...Like having an enthusiastic puppy yapping away while I 'enjoy' the idyllic sunset on the ocean ;)
