Pitching your tent on hard, stony ground calls for our Hard Ground Tent Pegs. At 5.5m thick, they're far thicker and stronger than standard tents pegs to easily penetrate harder terrain. Plus, they come as a complete set of 20 pegs with a mallet, extractor tool, and drawstring bag for easy storage.

With a length of 20cm, the pegs are longer than standard pegs for deeper, stronger pegging. Designed with reinforced polypropylene heads which feature hooks for easy extraction and holes for clip-on guy-lines.

For superior strength and holding power, we recommend embedding the pegs into the ground at a 45 degree angle. Doing so will also make them easier to remove from the ground.

The pegs go into hard ground very well. Sadly they don't come out that easily. The green plastic bit just breaks off... After one use lost a third of the pegs due to the plastic breaking off. One peg bent... Maybe they are good for less hard ground.
